Event overview
The 34th Annual Halloween 5K and Kids Fun Run takes place on October 18, 2026 in Brookfield, Connecticut. The event is centered at the Brookfield Municipal Center, 100 Pocono Road. It is offered as part of a multi-race bundle called the Brookfield Four Seasons Challenge.

The event includes these distances:

The 5K is USATF certified (CT06013JHP) and will be chip-timed, with the course beginning and ending at the Brookfield Municipal Center. Walkers, strollers and dogs on leash are welcome on the course. Short sleeve tee-shirts will be provided to all participants. Prizes will be given for best costumes. Awards will be presented to top finishers in nine age groups: 8 and under; 9-13; 14-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; and 70+.
The Kids Fun Run is a 0.23 mile loop around the parking lot of the Town Hall Campus. Children are encouraged to dress up for the run and all participants in the Kids Fun Run receive a prize.
