Halloween Havoc Half Marathon

Event details

Halloween Havoc takes place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Oak Mountain State Park in Pelham, Alabama. The event is organized by Zombie Trail Races and is a Halloween themed night race. Distances offered:

• 13 Miler
• 6 Miler

Each runner receives a race shirt; finishers receive a custom race pint glass. Awards are given for 1st through 3rd place, male and female, in both distances. There is also a best costume contest with awards for places 1-3. Post-race provisions include pizza, refreshments for adults and non-adults, and music at the finish.

Course and race details

Both distances are loop courses on park trails. The course surface includes a mix of hills, smooth single track, and jeep road. The 13 Miler has one full aid station at the halfway point. The 6 Miler has a water stop at its halfway point. Organizers state that cut-offs will be generous and that participants may run or hike. Headlamp use and carrying hydration are required.
