Logistics and purpose
The course is described as fast and flat and suitable for strollers and children. Prizes are planned for all children in the 1-mile event, with awards for best costumes and overall top finishers. All funds raised go to the Yellowstone Rapids XC/Track Club to support out-of-season travel and competition. The club is raising money for high school team trips to Spokane and Walnut, California.
