Run the Rainbow 5K

The Run the Rainbow 5K and Fun Run is an annual event held at Mount Trashmore Park in Virginia Beach, VA, organized by Hampton Roads Pride and Mettle Events. Now in its 8th year, the race features a 5K run and a 1-mile fun run, welcoming runners of all ages and abilities, including assisted athletes. It is notable for being the first U.S.

race to offer gender-neutral registration. The event fosters a family-friendly, inclusive atmosphere celebrating the LGBTQIAP+ community and allies, promoting health and community engagement. After the race, participants can join a social meetup at Three Notch'd Brewery in Town Center.
