Hardin-Meade Endurance Run
The Hardin-Meade Endurance Run is a challenging 31-mile race held in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, starting from Brandenburg Meade County and finishing downtown. Limited to 50 participants, the event takes place in July, often under hot and humid conditions, requiring runners to have prior ultra-distance or marathon experience for safety. Each runner must have a dedicated crew vehicle to provide support along the course, with strict safety measures including reflective vests for runners and pacers, and warning signs on crew vehicles.
The run features a leapfrogging crew vehicle system and allows pacers up to mile 22.5. The route is available for preview online. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
