Hardrock 100

The Hardrock 100 is a challenging 100-mile ultramarathon held annually in the San Juan Mountain Range of southwestern Colorado. The race features a counter-clockwise loop course with a total elevation change of about 66,000 feet, including 33,000 feet of ascent and descent, averaging an elevation of 11,186 feet. The route passes through historic mining towns such as Silverton, Lake City, Ouray, Telluride, and Ophir, with the highest point at Handies Peak, over 14,000 feet.
