Event overview
The Harker Heights Chamber of Commerce & Visitor's Center organizes the Harker Heights Santa Shuffle 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, December 13, 2025 in Harker Heights, Texas. The event includes the following distances and options:
- 5K - $50 (chip-timed)
- 1 mile - $35 (social run/walk, not timed)
- Kids run - free
The event page notes specialty snacks, vendors, and music will be available. The first 200 registrants for the 5K or bundle receive guaranteed swag including a T-shirt. T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed after December 1, 2026.
Logistics, eligibility and awards
The 5K and mile events are open to participants aged 10 and over. The kids run is described as a free run for children aged 9 and under. Packet pick-up is available at the Harker Heights Chamber of Commerce, 552 E. FM 2410, Suite B, on the Friday before the event and on race morning.
The 5K is chip-timed. Awards for the 5K include overall male and female winners and the top two finishers in each age group: 10-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+. The mile event includes an award for best race costume. T-shirts for the kids run are not included but can be purchased. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
