Event overview
The 2025 memorial Run/Walk Against Hunger is a hybrid event with in-person and virtual options. In-person activities take place at Croton Harmon High School, 36 Old Post Road South, Croton on Hudson, NY on Oct. 19. Virtual participation is available any time between Oct. 11 and Oct. 18 and allows participants to run or walk where and when they choose. The event is organized by an all-volunteer group and lists a donation goal of $30,000; $3,480 has been raised so far.

Several events offer a free t-shirt to the first 300 registrants in both virtual and in-person fields. Child participants in eligible events receive a free commemorative medal. The race site notes that organizers will publish the alternate 10K route on the event website when available.
Charities and fundraising
Proceeds support local and international hunger-relief organizations named by the organizer, including local food pantries and outreach groups, a national hunger organization, and educational or care programs overseas.
