Hawaii Kai Ultra Run - Xtreme

The Hawaii Kai Ultra Run - XTreme is a semi-annual ultramarathon event held near Sandy Beach at the east end of Oahu, Hawaii, approximately 30 minutes from Waikiki. Participants can choose from multiple distances including Half Marathon, 30K, Marathon, 50K, 50 Miles, 100K, and 100 Miles. The XTreme course features a challenging 9-mile loop that includes Heartbreak Hill and runs through Hawaii Kai neighborhoods, with aid stations spaced about 2.5 miles apart.

The event offers flexible start times with wave starts for some distances, emphasizing a personal challenge atmosphere rather than a competitive race. Finishers receive certificates, medals, and optional finisher shirts. The event also serves as a qualifier for the 50 States Marathon Club.
