The second annual HBCU Run & Brunch takes place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, on the South Side of Chicago, Illinois. The event combines running and a post-race brunch at Hillman Yard. The Care Moor Foundation for Civic Engagement is listed as a fundraising organization with a $2,000 goal. Sponsors include The Seniors and The Listening Tree.

Participants can choose in-person or virtual race options. Brunch experiences are offered as part of several entry options: a general Pit brunch at Hillman Yard and a VIP brunch experience in the iN Crowd Lounge - Hillman Yard. The VIP lounge lists reserved seating, upscale brunch selections, signature drinks, a VIP-only bar, and exclusive giveaways. The event notes that runners receive automatic access to the Pit brunch and that spectators can buy a Pit Pass. Group discounts and tent space are available for groups of 20 or more representing HBCUs, PBIs, Divine Nine organizations, PWIs, and community groups.
