Heads & Tails 5K
The Heads & Tails 5K & Doggie Dash is an annual event held at Garrison Forest School in Owings Mills, Maryland. It features a 5K run/walk on a rolling, tree-lined course where dogs are welcome to participate. Additionally, there is a separate Doggie Dash, a half-mile fun run for dogs and their handlers on a grassy, pet-friendly course.
The event includes a Vendor Village, family-friendly activities, and a post-race celebration with a famous hot breakfast. Participants receive commemorative shirts, finisher coins, and dog bandanas. Proceeds support the Greater Baltimore Chamber of Commerce and Reed’s Rescue, a local dog rescue organization.
