Hecker Tiki Trot 5K

The Hecker Tiki Trot 5K is a unique running event held in Hecker, Illinois, showcasing the scenic countryside of Southern Illinois. Participants run along a quiet country road at dusk, illuminated by over 200 burning tiki torches, creating a memorable and atmospheric experience. The event features a 5K race and a 1/2 mile fun run, catering to both elite athletes and novice runners.

Awards are given to overall winners and top finishers in various age groups. The race supports St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church, with pre-registered runners guaranteed a t-shirt.
