Event overview
The Henderson Turkey Trot is the 4th annual community running event held on November 29, 2025 in Henderson, TX. The event includes the following distances:

Proceeds from the event will go to Henderson Interchurch Ministry and Rusk County Legacy House. The event is presented by Rusk County Running Club, a 501c3 non-profit organization. Campfire Coffee Co. at 100 E. Main Street, Henderson, TX serves as the event location and host.
Logistics and support
Registration fees listed are $15 for the 5K and $10 for the 1 Mile; fees increase after November 27, 2025. Pre-race activities include check-in, a welcome with instructions and a group photo, and a brief prayer. Post-race hydration and nutrition are provided by Natural Grocers. Sponsors named for the event include Hill Family Chiropractic and VeraBank.
Participants are asked not to park in the lot directly in front of Campfire Coffee Co. and not to drive over timing equipment. Organizers recommend arriving with time to check in and attempting to carpool to conserve parking space. Course maps are available for both distances.
