About the race
Pillars Inspires presents Here Comes the Sun 5K/2K Run/Walk at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Crown Point, Indiana. The event offers a timed 5K Run and a non-timed 2K Walk. Themed around hope and sunshine, participants are encouraged to wear yellow, with Sunshine Stations along the course and a Wall of Hope for writing uplifting notes.
Post-race festivities include raffles, music, and photo stations, with proceeds supporting Northwest Indiana Cancer Kids. Registered runners receive a commemorative T-shirt; timing is provided by T&H Timing. Packet pickup is available Friday evening or race morning at the fairgrounds.
