The Heritage Days Fall 5K & 5 Mile takes place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, in New Richmond, Wisconsin. The race starts and finishes at the Heritage Center and is held in conjunction with the Heritage Days weekend. Entry for each event is listed at $30.

Course, timing and amenities
The courses use the local paved trail system and rural country roads in New Richmond. Chip timing is provided by MTEC Events, with results immediately available at MTECRESULTS.COM. The course will be marked with orange arrows and staffed with course marshals at major turns, police at major intersections, and an ambulance sweep.
Packet pickup is available Saturday morning and Friday evening at the Pavilion spaghetti dinner. Long sleeve cotton blend T-shirts are guaranteed to participants who register before the deadline. Awards are given in 10-year age groups; first place in each age group receives a pie, while second and third receive barn bucks usable at the flea market. Many door prizes are drawn after the run; winners must be present. The race benefits the Heritage Center and its educational programs. After the race, the Heritage Days Family Festival offers a farmers market, flea market, vendors, exhibits, a petting zoo, stagecoach rides, and food.
