Herscher Hare & Tortoise 5K Race

The Herscher Hare & Tortoise 5K Race & 2 Mile Fun Walk takes place in Herscher, Illinois, starting near the Herscher High School football field. The event features a flat, mostly shaded course along Herscher’s streets, marked with arrows for guidance. Participants can choose between a competitive 5K run or a non-competitive 2-mile walk, with awards for various age divisions in the run and prizes for the first 10 walkers.
