HerShield 5K

HerShield 5K is an empowering 5K held in Newark, Delaware at Glasgow Park (2275 Pulaski Highway). The event supports the HerShield Foundation’s programs that encourage girls to explore careers in public safety and benefit the Police and Princess Ball. Proceeds fund leadership workshops, mentorships, and community-building events to inspire the next generation of female first responders.

Participants receive a race T-shirt, post-race snacks and water, and there are age-group awards. The course is depicted in a course map and free parking is available at Glasgow Park. Every step empowers a princess, every mile builds a leader.
