High Five 100 - Lake City, CO

The High Five 100 is an extreme ultra-endurance running challenge held in Lake City, Colorado. Covering approximately 90 to 105 miles with over 40,000 feet of elevation gain, the course requires runners to summit five 14,000-foot peaks and six 13,000-foot peaks within 48 hours. Unlike traditional races, the route is unmarked, with participants navigating between 24 specified proof points and checkpoints in order, choosing their own paths.

Aid is only allowed at checkpoints, and there are no entry fees, medals, or aid stations. Designed for highly experienced mountain ultra runners, the event tests physical and mental limits across rugged San Juan terrain. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
