Event overview
The High Mountain Half Marathon Decade Anniversary takes place in Lakeside, Arizona on July 31 and August 1, 2026. The event center is at 1200 W White Mountain Blvd, Lakeside, AZ 85929. Organized race options on Saturday include a Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K, and on Friday evening there is a 5K Glow Run/Walk and a free Kids 1K for ages 0-12. The half marathon is a point-to-point course that finishes on the Blue Ridge High School track; runners are bused from Blue Ridge High School to the start. The half marathon route passes down Porter Mountain and into the town of Pinetop/Lakeside, with cedar and pine forest along parts of the course.
Race details
Entry fees listed for the main events are: half marathon $65 (youth 0-17: $50), 10K $45 (youth $35), 5K $25 (youth $20), and Glow Run/Walk $25 (youth $20). The half marathon has a four hour time limit; participants who do not reach the finish within that limit may be transported by race personnel or continue at their own responsibility and move to the side of the roadway. The Glow Run/Walk is a non-timed evening event that includes music, mostly track and paved paths with a short grass segment, an option to be splashed with paint powder on a grass-field adjustment, and a race shirt included.
