Highlandville Trout Trot
The Highlandville Trout Trot is a 5K run/walk held annually on July 4th in Highlandville, Iowa, at the Highland General Store & Campground. This family- and dog-friendly event welcomes participants of all ages, with a registration fee of $25 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under. Pre-registration by June 18 ensures a race t-shirt.
The course offers a community atmosphere, and after the race, participants enjoy a light meal including brats, hotdogs, chips, bars, and beverages. Proceeds support local individuals in need.
