Hilloween takes place on October 25, 2025 at Omao Dirt Track in Koloa, on Kaumuali'i Highway approximately 1.5 miles west of the Tunnel of Trees on the mauka side of the highway. The event includes on-site and virtual running options and a separate children’s run.

Race details
The 5K Trail Run is an off-road course with hills, obstacles, and views of the south shore of Kauai. The course is no longer than 3.1 miles. Costumes are strongly encouraged and prizes are awarded for the best costumes. The first 100 trail runners to register are guaranteed an event T-shirt. KIF high school cross country team members may enter the 5K free or pay a half-price fee to receive an event T-shirt.
The Keiki Trick-Or-Treat Run is for children aged 0-12 and features trick-or-treat stations along a short off-road course; participants receive a Hilloween tote bag. Any child 12 and under who registers for the 5K may take part in the Keiki run at no additional charge. A virtual 5K option is available; virtual participants receive an event T-shirt. The event is pet-friendly; leashed pets may join and enter a pet costume contest. Funds raised support the Kauai Ballet Academy Foundation for dance tuition scholarships. Da Wicked Brew will offer food and drinks for sale on site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
