Hilton Head Beach Bum Triathlon

The Hilton Head BEACH BUM Triathlon & Duathlon, held annually at Coligny Beach on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, offers a unique race experience on the flat, hard-packed sand of the beach. The triathlon features a 500m ocean swim, a 6-mile beach bike ride, and a 3-mile beach run, while the duathlon includes a 1.5-mile run, 6-mile bike, and 3-mile run, all on the beach. Known for its fun, relaxed atmosphere, the event includes individual and team relay options, custom shirts, and the coveted Coconut Monkey award.
