About the race
Hippo Trail Fest takes place in Hutto, Texas, at the Hippo Social Club, a wooded, rolling trail system that doubles as a community hub. The festival offers multiple distances: 5K, 10K, 13.1 miles, 26.2 miles, plus 10K and 13.1-mile Rucks, the Hippo Haul (5K weight-carry), and a Youth 1-Mile Run. The course centers on a well-marked 6.5-mile loop through forest trails with creeks, occasional sun, and gentle elevation, with shortcuts for longer distances.
