About the race
The Historic Boston-Edison Association 5K Run/Walk takes place in Detroit’s Historic Boston-Edison neighborhood, with events centered at Voigt Park (795 Longfellow St). The race covers a 5K course designed as a brand-new route through the neighborhood, offering a scenic and community-focused experience. Participants receive a t-shirt, finishers medal, a custom bib, and race timing, with a celebratory DJ and post-race music in Voigt Park.
Check-in and registration take place at Voigt Park. The event also features a Kids’ Sport Activity and options for general admission or HBEA residents, plus group discounts for four or more registrants. Spectators are welcome. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
