Event details
The Holiday Run Festival takes place Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Martinsville Speedway, 340 Speedway Rd, Ridgeway, VA 24148. The event runs in conjunction with the Martinsville Speedway Toy Drive; all participants are requested to bring a new, unwrapped toy. Registered runners and ruckers who sign up by November 20 will receive the official tech fabric short sleeve race shirt; registrations after that date receive shirts subject to available supply. Race timing is provided by Run Roanoke.
Race categories and rules
Distances offered:
- 5K Run / Walk / Ruck
- 10K Run / Ruck
- 15K Double Challenge (combined 5K + 10K results)
Walkers in the 5K Toy Walk will not be eligible for awards or race shirts and will not receive a race bib. Ruck participants must carry a minimum weight of 15 lbs and are asked to fill their ruck with new, unwrapped toys for the toy drive. Awards will be given to the top three males and females in the 5K and 10K; participants compete for Overall and Age Group awards in each race category. 15K Double Challenge entrants receive a special finisher medal and may earn awards in the 5K, 10K, and 15K categories.
