Home Run 5K

The Home Run 5K is a running event held on the campus of the Free Will Baptist Children’s Home in Middlesex, North Carolina. Scheduled for May 2, 2026, the 5K course offers participants an up-close view of the Children’s Home campus. Proceeds support youth programs for children in and aging out of foster care, including family placement and independent living initiatives.

Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers as well as age group winners. Pre-registration is $30, with a race day fee of $40, and includes a short sleeve t-shirt for those registered by April 15. The race is professionally timed by Run The East, LLC.
