About the race
Hornet Run is a community running event in Vinita, Oklahoma, held on Saturday, October 4, 2025. In-person options include a certified 5K and a 1K Fun Run, plus a 5K virtual option. The race begins and ends at North Park and benefits Vinita High School’s Student Council.
It is USATF-sanctioned with a certified 5K course and timed by TATUR Racing. Medals are awarded to the top three finishers in standard age groups for the 5K, and shirts are handed out after finish while supplies last. Packet pick-up and details are available via RunSignup.
