Hotfoot Hamster
The Hotfoot Hamster is a fixed-time ultra running event held at the historic Nardini Manor in Buckeye, Arizona. Participants can choose to run for 6, 12, or 24 hours on a USATF-certified, flat, and fast 500-meter crushed gravel loop that circles the century-old manor grounds. The course is designed for both first-time ultra runners and those seeking personal bests.
The event features a fully stocked aid station on course, convenient trackside setup for crews, and is a cupless race to reduce waste. Night running requires headlamps due to some dark stretches. Awards are given for top performances, and the race offers a friendly, community atmosphere ideal for endurance testing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
