Hurricane 100k
The Hurricane 100k is a challenging 62-mile trail race held on the Meeks Mountain Trails in Hurricane, West Virginia. Participants can run solo or as part of a three-person relay team, with the course consisting of six 10.3-mile single-track loops. The event offers a $10,000 prize purse for solo runners and hand-crafted awards for relay teams.
Pacers are allowed for solo runners during the last two loops. Runners receive a zip-up sweatshirt, finisher's award, and swag, with solo finishers earning a special belt buckle. The race promotes inclusivity with equal prizes and amenities for female runners.
