About the race
The 2nd Annual Hutto Turkey Trail Trot is a Thanksgiving morning trail running event held at the Hippo Social Club in Hutto, Texas. Participants can choose distances from 1.1 to 3.1 miles on wide, dirt trails featuring natural terrain with leaves, rocks, roots, and varying inclines, offering a challenging off-road experience. The event encourages runners to wear pajamas and supports The Pajama Program by collecting new pajamas for children.
The atmosphere is festive and family-friendly, with a post-race party including music, a bonfire, kids' zone, games, pie-eating contests, and refreshments like hot cocoa and coffee.
