The Hyak Halloween 25K is a trail running event held at Snoqualmie Pass, Washington, on the ancestral lands of the Snoqualmie Tribe. The 25-kilometer course features a unique and spooky experience by running through the 2.25-mile-long, 110-year-old Snoqualmie Tunnel twice, just before it closes for winter. The route combines smooth gravel sections on the Palouse to Cascades Trail with moderately steep, rooty single-track on the Annette Lake Trail, totaling 1,800 feet of elevation gain and loss.

The event encourages culturally respectful, non-gory costumes and emphasizes mindful recreation over competition, with a generous 7.5-hour time limit and no public results posted. Two aid stations support runners, and the scenic course showcases beautiful fall colors and alpine lake views. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
