About the race
Hyak Halloween 25K, a Rainshadow Running event, takes place on Snoqualmie Tribe Ancestral Lands at the Hyak Trailhead along the Palouse to Cascades Trail near Snoqualmie Pass, Washington. The 25K course features about 1,800 feet of cumulative elevation gain and a similar descent, with roughly half the route on smooth gravel and half on the Annette Lake Trail. It traverses the 2.25-mile Snoqualmie Tunnel at the start, runs to Annette Lake and back, and finishes at the Hyak Trailhead.
Halloween-friendly costumes are encouraged; the run emphasizes mindful recreation and does not post public results. Two aid stations support participants within a 7.5-hour limit. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
