I-35 Challenge

The I-35 Challenge is a unique running event held over two consecutive weekends in October 2025, featuring races in Kansas City, Missouri, and Des Moines, Iowa. Participants can complete the challenge by running combinations of marathons and half marathons in both cities, including marathon-marathon, marathon-half marathon, half marathon-marathon, or half marathon-half marathon pairings. This event is a collaboration between the Garmin Kansas City Marathon and the IMT Des Moines Marathon, offering runners a distinctive opportunity to experience two major races along the I-35 corridor.
