About the race
The I Raced The Law 5K and Fun Run is an annual event held in Oswego, Illinois, featuring a USATF-certified and chip-timed 5K race and a 1-mile interactive fun run. Participants race against police officers in their age and gender brackets, with the chance to mark "I Won" on their race t-shirts if they beat the officers' times. The event supports the Oswego Public Safety Cadets, helping fund equipment, training, and participation costs for their summer showdown.
Open to all ages, including separate categories for children 12 and under, the race offers a family-friendly atmosphere and awards following the competition. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
