Idaho High Mountain Triathlon
The Idaho High Mountain Triathlon, held in eastern Valley County, Idaho, is a challenging event that showcases the region's unique topography. Starting at Warm Lake (elevation 5,300 feet) and finishing in Yellow Pine (around 4,900 feet), the course includes a demanding crossing of a 7,300-foot summit. The event offers multiple race formats, including individual, relay, and adaptive categories, with mixed relay teams required to include at least one adaptive athlete.
Participants enjoy a supportive atmosphere with awards and an after-party in Yellow Pine. Free local camping is available for those wishing to stay overnight. The triathlon supports local needs through a nonprofit organization. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
