Event overview

Idaho Running Day is scheduled for October 18, 2025, in Boise, Idaho. The event uses the Boise Greenbelt corridor, running from Lucky Peak Reservoir to southeast Boise, with the start/finish area at Sandy Point Park in Lucky Peak State Park. Distances offered are:

  • 26.2 (Marathon)

Entry for 2025 was reported as sold out as of September 30, 2025. All events have a 3:00 pm cutoff time (7 hours).

Logistics and amenities

Packet pickup is available before race day: Fleet Feet Meridian on Wednesday 10/15/2025 (12:00–18:00) and Fleet Feet Nampa on Thursday 10/16/2025 (12:00–18:00); limited race-day packet pickup will also be available. Participants receive locally designed medals, athletic shirts, a post-race party, and real-time chip results. Course maps are provided for each distance; aid stations are placed every 2–3 miles on the 10K and Half Marathon, with marathon aid station details pending.

Sandy Point Beach main parking costs $7 (cash preferred) and Idaho residents with a visible Parks Passport are exempt at the lot. There will be porta potties and two restroom buildings with ADA facilities at Sandy Point; on-course restroom access for the Half Marathon and Marathon is listed at Aid Station #2. Team scoring and cash prizes are planned, including a $250 prize for the club with the most signups. Volunteers were requested for multiple roles along the course.
