If You're Not First You're Last

If You're Not First You're Last is a unique endurance running event held in Eagle, Idaho, featuring a challenging 4.167-mile loop course. The race tests participants' stamina and grit rather than speed, as runners must complete each loop within an hour and be back at the starting corral on the hour to continue. The event continues until only one runner remains able to start a new loop, who must then complete one additional loop to win.

A 2 Loop Challenge option is also available for those wanting a shorter experience. The race offers minimal aid at the start/finish and allows two crew members per runner. It is part of the Idaho Trail Ultra Series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
