About the race
The Ignite the Senses Autism Awareness 5K & Children's Dash is held in Bluffton, South Carolina, starting and finishing at LowCountry Community Church. This event features a fast, flat 5K course chip-timed by Palmetto Running Company, with a water station at the halfway point. It includes a 5K run and two Children's DASH races for ages 2-4 and 5-10, where parents may run alongside their children.
Participants are greeted at the finish with a celebratory bubble shower symbolizing special needs and receive finisher medals. Awards are given to top overall and age group runners.
