I'm Back 5K
The I'm Back 5K takes place on Sunday, December 7, 2025, in Columbus, Indiana. The event includes a 5K Run/Walk with two entry categories: Adult 19+ (entry fee $35) and Youth 18 and under (entry fee $20). There is an additional option to purchase an event shirt for $20. Purpose and location
The event is held at CERA Sports Park & Campground, 3989 S 525 E, Columbus, IN 47203. It is organized in honor of a local coach who was seriously injured in September 2024, spent two months in a coma, and was released from the hospital on December 7, 2024. All proceeds will benefit the injured coach and the coach’s family. The event marks the one-year anniversary of the coach returning home and recognizes his planned return to coaching youth runners.
