About the race
I’m Here for the Food (Pantry) 5k is a family-friendly running and walking event at Busse Woods (Grove #32) in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. The chip-timed 5K offers a run or walk, plus a free untimed children’s race and activities for kids, with a DJ and a post-race cookout. Proceeds support the Christus Victor Lutheran Church Food Pantry, which serves more than 60 families weekly.
