In Their Shoes 5K

The In Their Shoes 5K is a scenic running event held at Rock Creek Park in Washington, DC. The mostly flat, paved course includes one notable hill and features two water stations along the route. Walkers and strollers are welcome, and a virtual race option is available for those unable to attend in person.

Participants receive a finisher’s medal, event shirt, and chip timing. The race supports the Iraqi Children Foundation, aiding vulnerable children in Iraq. Awards are given to top overall and youth finishers.
