Location: Bristol, Rhode Island. The Independence Rhode Race is a half marathon with a two-person relay option. The patriotic, family-friendly weekend aligns with the Oldest 4th of July Celebration and features a walkable downtown and festive homes.

The course starts on Thames Street, passes the America’s Cup Museum, heads south through Roger Williams University, and finishes at Independence Park with views of the Mt. Hope Bridge and Narragansett Bay. Special features include Green-Certified status, multiple aid stations, post-race waterfront festival with music, free photos, tech shirts and medals, RaceJoy live tracking, and an after-party at Pivotal Brewing.
