About the race
Indian Trail 5K Run, Kids Mile, & Non-Competitive 5K Walk takes place at Mississinewa High School Cross Country Course in Gas City, Indiana. The event funds the Mississinewa Cross Country programs, including the high school and middle school teams and the Indians Elementary Running Club. The newly designed course runs around athletic fields with woodland loops, described as fun, fast, and challenging.
Distances offered are a Kids Mile (ages 3–10), a 5K run, and a non-competitive 5K walk. Awards cover age-group top finishers plus recognition for the youngest and oldest 5K finishers. Discounts for military, first responders, alumni, teachers, and athletes.
