Ipswich Ale Half Marathon
The Ipswich Ale Half Marathon is a scenic 13.1-mile race held annually in Ipswich, Massachusetts, starting and finishing at Crane Beach. The course features a challenging first mile climb around the historic Crane Estate, known as "Storming the Castle," followed by a route through picturesque farmland, salt marshes, and classic New England neighborhoods along the Ipswich River. The terrain is generally rolling with a total ascent of 576 feet.
The event offers five water stops, medical support, and a festive post-race party with traditional recovery food and Ipswich Ale.
