About the race
IRIS Run for Refugees is an in-person and virtual 5K fundraiser held in New Haven, Connecticut, in East Rock. The event features a flat 5K course suitable for beginners, with separate 5K Student and Virtual 5K options. It is IRIS’ biggest annual fundraiser, drawing about 3,000 runners and walkers who join to support refugees and immigrants through IRIS services, including housing, healthcare, job placement, and education.
