Event overview
The Irish 5K is scheduled for March 7, 2026 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. The event is the first race in the three-race Tour de Patrick series held across Rhode Island in March. The event includes in-person and virtual options and supports the Pawtucket Soup Kitchen. A post-race gathering will be held at Azul Tequila Bar (formerly Murphy’s Law), 2 George St., Pawtucket, with live Irish music and a cash bar; ID is required.

- Kids Leprechaun Run : ~1/4 mile (ages 12 and under; parents may run with children)
- VIRTUAL Irish 5K : 3.1 miles (virtual participation option)
The in-person race location is near Roosevelt Avenue / Pawtucket City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02860. Packet pickup is available in Providence (Marathon Sports, 1 Providence Place) before race day and at the Blackstone Valley Visitor’s Center (175 Main Street, Pawtucket) on race day. Pets are not allowed and strollers must start in the back for safety. Walkers are permitted.
Entry fees vary by event and registration period: Irish 5K fees range from early pricing to a race-day walk-up fee, kids run fees are lower, and a full Tour de Patrick bundle is offered for all three races. Race shirts are provided to pre-registered participants; shirts are not guaranteed for walk-up registrations.
Awards and scoring
Individual awards are given to the top 3 overall and to age-group winners from Under 19 through 70+. Individual awards are scored on gun time. A team award is given to the top overall team; team rankings use chip time. There is no limit on team size and teams must register online.
