Event overview
Iron Will Backroads takes place on May 16, 2026, in Enterprise, KS, at 3rd & Bluff. The event offers three distances:
- 50K - 4 loops of the course
- 100K - 8 loops of the course
- 100 Mile - 13 loops of the course
Registration closes on Wed, May 13 at 11:59 PM CT. Entry fees listed are $125 for the 50K, $175 for the 100K, and $225 for the 100 Mile.
Course, support and rules
The course is made of 7.7 mile loops on gravel and asphalt. A full aid station is located at the end and beginning of each loop with typical aid station foods and various hot foods during the race. If temperatures exceed 80 degrees, an unmanned water stop will be placed about 5 miles into the loop.
Pacers are allowed beginning on Loop 6; only one pacer may accompany a runner at a time and all pacers must sign a waiver. Organizers guarantee a shirt for those who register by 04/23/2026; shirts are described as tri blend. Awards include male and female winners in each race and finisher buckles for all finishers. The deferral policy allows 100% deferrals within 30 days of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
