Iron Will Backroads takes place in Enterprise, KS. The event offers the following distances:
- 50K - entry fee $125
- 100K - entry fee $175
- 100 Mile - entry fee $225
Registration closes on Wed, May 13 at 11:59 PM CT. Registrants who register by 04/23/2026 are guaranteed a shirt.
Course and logistics
The 100 Mile option uses 9 loops of 11.15 miles for a total of about 100.35 miles. Each loop includes a manned aid station at mile 6. The course surface is mainly gravel roads and rail trail with very little asphalt. The rail trail portion runs alongside an active historic train. Pacers are allowed starting on loop 6; only one pacer may accompany a runner at a time and all pacers must sign a waiver. All participants receive a tri-blend shirt. Awards are given to male and female winners in each race, and finishers receive buckles. The event offers 100% deferrals within 30 days of the event with no reason required.
