Ironstone 100K

The Ironstone 100K is a point-to-point ultramarathon of 100 km held on trails in the Alleghenies. The event is scheduled for July 11-12, 2026. The race is presented under the Ironstone banner and uses a course referred to as the Ironstone Tramline.

Course and race details

The event does not allow pacers and provides minimal aid stations. A course update notes the Dilling Bridge on the Lower Trail is closed at mile 11.4. Organizers issued a traffic alert for Aid Station 4 at Alfarata because the race coincides with the Huntingdon County Fireman’s Festival in Alexandria on the Saturday of the event.

Race materials and logistics pages include a race timeline, course map and charts, course narratives in two parts, aid station and crew information, and race rules. Results and reports are available for previous years (2022 through 2025). The event lists Trail Sisters Approved Standards, including equal podiums and awards, women’s specific apparel and swag, menstrual products at aid stations, and a pregnancy and postpartum policy.
