iRun WNY New Year's Eve 5K

The iRun WNY New Year's Eve 5K is an annual running event held at Fort Niagara State Park in Youngstown, New York. Celebrating its 10th edition in 2025, the race features a scenic 5K course starting and finishing near the historic Old Fort Niagara lighthouse. The New Year's Eve race follows a clockwise route, while the New Year's Day 5K takes a counter-clockwise course, both including a water stop passed twice.

Participants receive custom finisher medals, with awards for overall and age group winners. A festive post-race celebration with music, snacks, and a heated tent is held near the Officer's Club, creating a welcoming atmosphere to ring in the new year.
