Jack Bristol Lake Waramaug Ultra Races
Jack Bristol Lake Waramaug Ultra Races run around Lake Waramaug in Kent, Connecticut, offering 100K, 50M, and 50K. One of the oldest ultras in the United States, it marks its 52nd anniversary in 2026 as part of the Mount to Coast 100K Series. The rolling, mostly flat course uses paved roads around the lake, starting near Lake Waramaug Road and Anderson Acres Road, with a 2.2-mile out-and-back.
Runners complete laps: 50K three, 50M six, 100K seven, finishing at the state park. Four aid stations, post-race food, and swag—hi-tech shirts, medals, buckles, and a finisher medal—accompany the day. Winners receive certificates; completing 3 of 4 races earns an exclusive jacket. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
