The Jack Bristol Lake Waramaug Ultra Races take place in Kent, CT on April 26, 2026 and mark the event's 52nd anniversary. Race distances offered:
- 100K
- 50 Miler
- 50K
The event is part of the Mount To Coast 100K Series. Overall male and female winners of each race receive certificates for a pair of R1 Mount to Coast shoes. Finishers receive event swag that includes a hi-tech T-shirt, post-race food, and a special Mount to Coast finisher medal. Finishers of the 100K also receive a custom belt buckle. Bib pickup begins one hour before each race.
Course and logistics
The course uses rolling loops on paved roads around Lake Waramaug and is described as primarily flat. The start area is near the intersection of Lake Waramaug Road and Anderson Acres Extension in Kent, CT, with the finish at the state park (coordinates provided by the organizer). Lap formats:
- 50K: three 7.6 mile laps plus a 1.9 mile out-and-back to the finish.
- 50 Miler: six laps around the lake, finishing at the state park.
- 100K: seven laps plus a 2.3 mile out-and-back to the finish.
There are four stocked aid stations placed around the lake and post-race food for all runners. Time limits are 12 hours for the 50K and 13 hours for the 50 Miler and 100K, subject to race official discretion for safety. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
