Jack O'Lantern Jog 5K

The Jack O'Lantern Jog 5K and 1-mile Fun Run is held annually at Sandy Creek Nature Center in Athens, Georgia. This festive event features two races: a Goblin 1-mile Fun Run and the 5K Jack O'Lantern Jog, both run on paved surfaces entirely within Sandy Creek Park. The 5K course is USATF certified and qualifies for the Peachtree Road Race.

Participants enjoy a scenic route along the Oconee River Greenway. The event offers unique themed awards across various age groups and categories, with children in the fun run receiving candy and finisher medals.
